LONDON (Dunya News) – Ousted premier of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has said on Sunday (September 17) that the issue of workers’ ‘disappearance’ in NA-120 constituency was being reviewed.

He conversed with the media as he stepped out his posh Mayfair residence in London following his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

He said that the party is receiving complaints since yesterday (September 16) that voters of PML-N ‘disappeared’ ahead of the polling day.

He said that national as well as international issues were conversed about in the meeting. While talking about NA-120 by-polls, he thanked the workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz for encouraging the party and entrusting it with their mandate.

Nawaz Sharif said that his wife and candidate in NA-120 by-polls is undergoing treatment for lymph nodes cancer in London and would soon return to Pakistan.

Social media posts had surfaced earlier in the day today claiming that certain people had gone  missing  ahead of polling in the constituency after the National Assembly seat fell vacant on July 28 over Nawaz Sharifs ousting.
